Greg leads origination: deal sourcing, seller relationships, and the firm’s capital network. He spent more than a decade in commercial real estate advisory, leading teams at Colliers International and his own brokerage, Accretive Realty Partners, through more than $1.5B in transactions. He co-founded Pantone Investment Management, deploying over $40M of equity across 13 self-storage properties with a record of disciplined underwriting, clean execution, and returns above expectations.

Chris Taylor

Managing Partner

Chris leads execution, working directly with founders through transition. He began in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets, advising on transactions including Sofina Foods’ $140M acquisition of Santa Maria Foods and SNC-Lavalin’s $2.1B acquisition of Kentz. He helped launch a $300M fund at Aryeh Capital and has since served as a two-time CFO, scaling an 800-person operation and U.S. expansion at GoBolt, and the logistics behind one million subscribers at Goodfood. Matt Kaul

Investment Associate

Matt supports investment analysis, business development, and asset management. He joined Hugh Bird from Pantone Investment Management, where he covered self-storage and industrial assets, following a B.Comm in Finance from Mount Allison University. While at Mount Allison he founded and scaled several ventures of his own.
